ÁRVORE DA VIDA (TREE OF LIFE)
On believes that the future lies not only in cutting edge technology. Since 2006, we offer an audiovisual technician formation course for underprivileged youths through the Árvore da Vida Project. Developed in association with the Fiat Foundation and the NGOs AVSI (Associação de Voluntários Para o Serviço Internacional) and CDM (Cooperação Para o Desenvolvimento e Morada Humana), the course cares for young people between 18 and 25 years of age that reside in one of the most violent regions of Minas Gerais, Jardim Teresópolis, Betim.Technical classes are conducted during four months by professionals with ON’s expertise and excellence. Twenty five new professionals graduate in each class with degrees in electro mechanics, computing and multimedia installations; human development classes are also provided.
In 2006 all graduates were hired by ON and TecnoVISION do Brasil and as their first job they had the challenge of developing a revolucionary project for 360° BTL enterprise, the Red Bull End of Season – (Morumbi/SP). Awarded nationally and internationally, the project was a unique opportunity for these young professionals to include in their CV’s the experience of working on a large venue event.
By the end of 2007, another batch of 14 graduates had their first job opportunity in another large project, working on the audiovisual assembly of the never seen before Ávore de Natal da Pampulha (BH/MG) project.
